Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0 Problem and Review

I have been searching the internet about this phone and all I could find are just phone reviews which does not address it's problems.I bought this phone a few months back and at first it was really good. I am the type of person who takes care of all my belongings with intricate care and cautious handle.

I was wondering why the phone suddenly acted weird on me,I did not drop it or anything.I was surprised with the sudden issues this phone showed.This post is actually for people who wonders if there are people who are having the same issues with the Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0.

Before we show the problems,let us take a look at the Flame 2.0's specs:

OS
Android Jellybean 4.1.2

The Screen
4.5 inch QHD

The Processor
it is running on the qualcomm snapdragon, I can actually play graphic intensed games on this one with no hiccups.
QUAD CORE! the good part!

Ram 
Ram is 1gig,quite decent for any smartphone

Rom
4gig internal memory. Expandable up to 32gb

Camera
Front: VGA
Back: 5mp with flash
It's an ok feature,in this phone don't expect hi-quality performance. It sometimes lags

Battery
1600 mAh Li-ion
this phone must be charged 2-3 times a day (If you're using it extensively)

Dual Sim Standby
Quite useful if you have 2 networks.


The following problems are in no particular order:

• Sudden Shutdown

During the first few weeks, the phone was pretty solid for a cheap price of P6,999.I have noticed that this problem occurs when i plug in the 3.5mm jack, just a few minutes then the phone would suddenly blackout with any prior notice.

The customer service is no help and ther service is really uinproffesional. I have not found any updates from the cherry mobile website addressing the problem.

• Low battery Life

Cherry mobile here in the philippines is known to have shitty battery life phones.It's sad because the phone is packed with power, the screen is ok for me,would you expect an Amoled screen for a 6,999 device?I don't think so.The phone only lasts 3-4 hours with wifi on and extensive gaming.

• Touchscreen Ghosting Problem

I have read from some blogs that Cherry Mobile Flare has this ghosting problem,Guess what the Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0 also has this ghosting problem when it gets hot. It occurs twice a day sometimes. The solution i found for this problem is to hard reboot the phone. (Remove battery for 10secs and then put it back.)

Overall Conclusion

The Cherry Mobile brand is really cheap but I guess you get your money's worth. You can't really complain about it because it is too packed for it's cheap price, of course it will always have a catch.

I still use this phone up until today and it still acts up everyday. i still owe my online activities to the phone. This post is no hate intended I am just stating the problem it has.
